SEN Teacher – Intervention Groups – South East London Secondary School
Location: South East London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time | Long-term supply with potential to go permanent
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in South East London seeking a qualified and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team for the new academic year.
The Role:
You will be working with small groups of students in KS3 and KS4 who require additional support with core subjects, particularly Maths and English. The role focuses on delivering targeted intervention classes, helping students develop both their academic skills and confidence in learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to small groups of students with additional needs.
*
Support students in accessing the mainstream curriculum.
*
Monitor and assess progress, tailoring support strategies accordingly.
*
Collaborate with the SENCO, subject teachers, and pastoral teams.
*
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
*
Experience working with secondary-aged students with SEN
*
Strong knowledge of Maths and/or English at KS3/KS4 level
*
A calm, adaptable approach and excellent behaviour management skills
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
