Job Description
SEN Teacher - Gravesend
Full-Time - MPS - Immediate Start
Tradewind Recruitment are currently sourcing for an SEN Teacher to work within specialist provisions within the Gravesend area. In terms of the academic level you would be teaching to, it would be along the Pre-Key Stage standards 1-2, adapting learning to work towards achieving pupils Individual Education Plans. The roles we would be recruiting for would be full-time and would commence from September.
We would welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers alike.
The Role
Working as an SEN Teacher within specialist provisions within Primary schools
Working in SEN units, teaching classes of up to 15 pupils with predominantly Autism
Other SEN needs will include Speech and Language, Global Delay, and SEMH.
Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively.
Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of studentsRequirements
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum, or experience adapting the curriculum for children with moderate to severe SEN
Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
Have right to work in the UK
