SEND Teacher – Autism Specialist Provision (Ages 11–19)
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to join a specialist provision supporting young people aged 11–19 with Autism and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This is a meaningful opportunity to lead, inspire, and empower students in a nurturing, inclusive environment designed to help every learner thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Planning and delivering differentiated, personalised lessons that cater to students’ individual needs, EHCPs, and developmental levels.
Creating a structured, calm learning environment that supports both academic progress and social-emotional development.
Leading a small class group with the support of experienced Learning Support Assistants.
Collaborating with a committed and supportive multidisciplinary team, including therapists and external professionals.
Contributing to the wider school community and ongoing curriculum development.

What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is essential.
Proven experience working with students with SEND, particularly Autism.
Strong planning, differentiation, and behaviour management skills.
A nurturing and creative teaching approach.
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Must be able to provide suitable references and hold an enhanced DBS.
