SEN Teacher | Primary Autism Unit | September 2025 Start | Full-Time | Brixton
An inclusive and well-resourced Primary Autism SEN Unit located near Brixton is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The school is looking to trial and interview suitable candidates immediately during the summer term, so early applications are highly encouraged.
About the Role:
Position: SEN Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Near Brixton, South London
Class: Mixed Year 3-5
Pupils: 10 students, all with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Support: 4 experienced LSAs in class
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SEN Teacher who has experience with autism and differentiated, low-arousal teaching. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of your pupils, promoting both academic progress and emotional development.
What We're Looking For:
A qualified SEN Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Sen Teacher with proven experience working with children with ASC
Confident managing a classroom with varying needs and behaviours
Skilled at leading and working collaboratively with LSAs
Calm, nurturing, and adaptable teaching style
