About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and highly skilled SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and forward-thinking team. In this role, you will support children across a range of educational settings, contributing to the delivery of high-quality interventions and promoting a safe, supportive learning environment.
You will work closely with students and staff, implementing tailored learning strategies, classroom activities, and helping to raise pupil achievement. This role requires initiative, a collaborative spirit, and a deep understanding of SEN/SEBD provision.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver targeted support for students with SEN/SEBD across a variety of learning environments.
Apply specialist strategies to enhance learning outcomes, such as behaviour management and Team Teach
Support colleagues and lead aspects of staff CPD where appropriate.
Communicate effectively with children with special education needs.
Demonstrate a commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Experience supporting children in SEN/SEBD or similar environments (minimum two years experience).
Proficient in using ICT.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
Working knowledge and experience of implementing national/foundation stage curriculum and other relevant learning strategies.
QTS or equivalent
Desirable:
Professional accreditation or specialist training in areas such as Dyslexia, Behaviour Support, or Anger Management.
Proven success in coaching, project delivery, or performance management.
Ability to lead CPD and support organisational improvement initiatives.
