Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain high standards of quality in teaching and learning
Participate in school development planning and ongoing self-assessment
Offer professional guidance and support to teaching and support staff
Advise the Head of Education on suitable resources and instructional materials
Lead relevant professional development initiatives
Uphold and promote the School's mission and objectives
Requirements
Hold PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with evidence of continued professional development.
Solid understanding of Special Educational Needs, including relevant curricula and individualised learning plans.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Experience in coaching and mentoring Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, and similar roles.
Strong capabilities in planning, preparing, documenting, and evaluating student progress.
Practical experience in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those with complex communication or behavioural challenges.
