SEN Teacher - September Start | BS5 | Paid to Scale 🌟
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with complex needs?
A welcoming and inclusive school in the BS5 area of Bristol is seeking a committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join their team from September. This full-time role offers pay to scale and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where every child is valued.
🧠 About the Role:
Start Date: September
Location: BS5, Bristol
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)
👩🏫 The Students:
Primarily non-verbal learners with a range of complex needs
Require a nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching
Supported by a strong team of TAs and therapists
✅ What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those who are non-verbal
Knowledge of alternative communication methods (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC)
A compassionate and resilient attitude
Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
