Daily Rate: £160 - £220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in a specialist setting?
Remedy Recruitment is currently working with a dedicated secondary SEN school in Southwark, supporting pupils aged 11-16 with a range of needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties. The school is seeking an inspiring and committed SEN Teacher to join the team from September 2025.

The Role:
Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet a wide range of individual needs
Adapt the curriculum to ensure access and engagement for all pupils
Manage behaviour effectively, using restorative approaches and emotional support strategies
Work closely with Learning Mentors, SENCOs, therapists, and parents/carers
Use EHCP targets to guide planning, assessment, and progress monitoring
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
Experience teaching in SEN settings, particularly with SEMH, ASD, or complex needs
Confident in managing challenging behaviour and delivering a therapeutic approach to teaching
Strong knowledge of differentiation and adaptive teaching strategies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Right to work in the UK
SEN experience in a school or alternative provision is essential
