Job Description
A secondary school in Stockport is currently looking for teachers to start in new full-time positions from September. The school works with students who have special educational needs and require additional support within the classroom. All students are working at a level below average for their age group, so may need resources adapting to suit their needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective lessons that meet the needs of the students you are working with
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for each student
Work alongside other staff to create comprehensive support plans for students
Track student development and feed this back to parents, carers and other staff
For this role you should
Have QTS or extensive teaching experience
Have experience teaching and supporting students with a range of different additional needs
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be confident in planning and developing lessons to suit the individual needs of students
Be available full time in September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
