Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs? A specialist primary setting in Accrington is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing, inclusive, and forward-thinking school that provides tailored support for pupils with SEMH, ASD, PMLD, and PLD. You will work with a skilled and supportive team in a well-resourced environment that places children's development at the heart of everything they do.
Position Details:
Role: SEN Teacher (Primary - Key Stage 1 or 2, depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS) to Upper Pay Scale (UPS) + SEN Allowance
Location: Accrington, Lancashire
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience teaching children with SEMH, ASD, PMLD or PLD
Is compassionate, resilient, and able to adapt to individual needs
Can plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons that promote progress and independence
Has strong behaviour management strategies and a nurturing approach
Can work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Brings energy, creativity, and a passion for inclusive education
