Protocol Education is assisting an independent specialist school to recruit a passionate and dedicated SEN Educator. Our client is a small, nurturing specialist school providing tailored education within a therapeutic environment, focusing on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a family feel and a recent ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted, the school prides itself on fostering strong supportive relationships that empower young people to thrive and shape their futures. About the Role: Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across KS2 with a willingness to teach KS3. Support pupils with Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans in a small setting (up to 15 pupils). Create a safe, inspiring learning environment and act as a positive role model. Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress tracking. Promote personal development and support pupils’ future aspirations. Participate in continued professional development and uphold school policies. What we’re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. Experience working with SEN pupils preferred. Creative, committed, and therapeutic approach to education. Full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 inset days). Annualised pay over 12 months for financial consistency.
