SEN Teachers - Amazing opportunities to teach across North London
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking experienced and passionate SEN Teachers to work across a variety of Special Educational Needs Schools and SEN Units throughout North London from September 2025.
We are partnering with multiple specialist settings including mainstream schools with dedicated SEN units, standalone special schools, and alternative provision, all seeking committed educators to join their teams.
About the Opportunities: You will have the chance to teach students with diverse SEND across various settings, including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Learning Difficulties, SEMH needs, Physical Disabilities, and complex communication requirements. Your responsibilities will typically include:
Designing and delivering personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs and abilities
Creating innovative, accessible teaching resources and multi-sensory learning experiences
Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and external professionals to implement comprehensive care plans
Conducting ongoing assessment and contributing to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews
Supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development in nurturing environmentsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with demonstrable experience in special educational needs settings
Comprehensive knowledge of SEN legislation and best practice approaches
Flexibility to adapt teaching methods across different types of SEN provision
Strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting students with complex needs
Additional training in areas such as autism, SEMH, behaviour support, or assistive technology would be advantageous
