About Us We are a dynamic, mission-driven tuition service that supports young people, both primary and secondary age, who are struggling to engage with mainstream education. Whether due to social, emotional, or special educational needs, we provide tailored academic and pastoral support in close partnership with families. Our goal is to help young people reintegrate into school or guide them toward meaningful alternative pathways. We have big ambitions to support a lot more young poeple and have built a great reputation in the space. The Role We are seeking a passionate SEN Teacher who will also take on the strategic role of Curriculum Lead, helping shape, deliver, and refine a personalised learning programme for our students. This is more than a classroom role, it's a chance to make real impact in young lives, mentor tutors, and co-create a supportive and flexible learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high quality 1:1 or small group SEN teaching sessions across a range of ages and needs • Lead on curriculum design, ensuring content is accessible, engaging, and tailored to diverse learning profiles • Help support the 20+ unqualified tutors we currently have working for us. • Work closely with families, local authorities, and other professionals to build education pathways for each learner • Line-manage or mentor a small team of tutors and support staff • Help assess student needs, monitor progress, and set reintegration or progression goals • Contribute to the development of new teaching resources and intervention strategies • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding and SEN policies You’ll Need • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with a specialism in SEN • Experience working with young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs • A flexible, trauma-informed, and student-centred approach to education • Experience in or passion for curriculum development and teaching innovation • Strong communication and collaborative skills, especially in working with families • A growth mindset and deep belief that all young people can succeed with the right support Desirable but Not Essential • Experience working outside mainstream schools (e.g. PRUs, APs, or tuition settings) • Team leadership or project management experience • Familiarity with EHCP processes and multi-agency working Why Join Us? • Real impact: Help shape life-changing education for those who need it most • Innovation: Co-create a curriculum that meets students where they are • Flexibility: A supportive, understanding team that values wellbeing and autonomy * • Purpose: Every day, you’ll be helping families navigate education with confidence and hope
