About the role:
The SEN Teacher will deliver creative and differentiated lessons to students with ASD across different age groups. The role involves planning and adapting the curriculum, managing support staff, and working closely with therapists and parents. This is a temporary to permanent position with excellent opportunities for professional growth.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with ASD
Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
Lead and manage teaching assistants effectively in class
Foster independence, communication, and social interaction
Work in partnership with families and external professionalsRequirements - The ideal candidate would have:
QTS or QTLS with experience in SEN, ideally ASD
Knowledge of strategies to support students with autism and communication needs
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Patience, resilience, and a creative approach to teaching
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to applyOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted
