Primary Teacher (Years 3-6) - SEN Specialist (Autism Focus)

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teacher to join a highly supportive SEN school in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This well-resourced and nurturing setting is dedicated to supporting children with additional needs, with a strong emphasis on Autism. Staff are provided with excellent professional support, ensuring both pupils and teachers can flourish.
This position begins in September 2025, initially on a temporary basis, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent after the first term.

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience in Primary, EYFS, or SEN settings
Strong knowledge of Autism and effective strategies to support pupils with additional needs
Skilled in classroom and behaviour management
Passionate about delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to each child
A reflective, resilient, and collaborative practitionerKey Responsibilities:
Teach small groups of pupils in Years 3-6, adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom for pupils with Autism
Work closely with Teaching Assistants to deliver consistent, high-quality support
Monitor and track progress, setting achievable, individualised goals
