We are recruiting dedicated and flexible SEN/SEMH Teachers to work across a range of specialist schools and provisions in Surrey, supporting students of primary and secondary age. Whether you’re looking for ad hoc supply, daily cover, or a long-term/full-time role with planning and preparation responsibilities, we have opportunities to suit your availability and experience.
The Role:
As an SEN or SEMH Teacher, you will:
Deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils
Work with students who may have autism (ASC), ADHD, SLD, PMLD, trauma-related needs, or behavioural challenges
Create an inclusive, supportive and engaging learning environment
Collaborate with support staff, therapists and leadership teams to ensure positive outcomes
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using restorative and relational approaches

We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
Experience working in SEN/SEMH settings or a passion to develop in this area
Confident classroom management and a nurturing approach
Flexibility and resilience to adapt to different school environments
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
