Location: Stanstead Abbotts, SG12 Start Date: Immediate starts available ⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term with potential permanent roles Why This Role Matters As an SEN Teacher, you won’t just teach – you’ll be the difference between a child struggling and a child thriving. You’ll create a safe, supportive environment where pupils with Special Educational Needs can build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Your Impact Shape learning: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for pupils with a range of needs, including those with EHCPs. Work as a team: Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external specialists to provide consistent, high-quality support. Track progress: Monitor each child’s development and adapt strategies to help them succeed. Inspire growth: Build an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, respected, and capable. What We’re Looking For QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential Experience teaching children with SEN in a primary setting (desirable) Understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What You’ll Get Competitive pay based on your experience Supportive, inclusive schools that value your expertise Ongoing CPD & SEN-specific training to keep you growing A dedicated consultant to match you with the perfect school All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
