The Role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to provide long-term cover for KS1 and KS2 classes. You will be responsible for: * Delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching tailored to pupils with special educational needs * Supporting individual learning plans and Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans * Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external agencies * Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly * Promoting inclusion, positive behaviour, and a supportive learning environment About the Pupils The children you will be supporting have a range of complex needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sensory needs, and challenging behaviour. Person Specification * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching SEN pupils, preferably across KS1 and KS2 * Strong understanding of SEND strategies and legislation, especially relating to SEMH, PMLD, autism, sensory, and behavioural needs * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Patience, empathy, and resilience to support children's needs effectively Benefits * Supportive and inclusive school community * Opportunities for professional development and SEND training * SEN allowance * Term-time only contract, allowing work-life balance How to Apply Please send your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role.
