About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and creative SEN Teacher to join a supportive primary SEN school in London from September 2025. You’ll teach and inspire primary-aged pupils with autism (ASD) and complex needs, working alongside a passionate and collaborative team to make a lasting impact on pupils’ learning, communication, and social development.

This nurturing and structured SEN school provides a tailored approach to learning, helping children with autism and associated needs to develop communication, independence, and academic skills. The school prides itself on its holistic teaching methods, multi-agency collaboration, and its strong commitment to staff development.
Your Main Duties:
Deliver creative, differentiated lessons for primary-aged pupils with ASD and complex needs.
Manage and support teaching assistants in the classroom to ensure consistency and high-quality provision.
Develop and implement individual learning plans and behaviour strategies.
Encourage independence, positive communication, and social interaction.
Work closely with parents, therapists, and other professionals to meet pupils’ needs.
What We’re Looking For:
QTS or QTLS with experience in SEN or mainstream primary teaching.
Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with ASD and communication needs.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
A patient, creative, and resilient approach to teaching.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
