SEN Teacher – All-Through School (Ages 3–19)
Location: Uxbridge, London
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Start: ASAP / Immediate Start Available
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist all-through SEN school in Hounslow that supports pupils aged 3 to 19 with Autism (ASD), Speech & Language Needs, SLD/MLD and complex learning profiles. The school is well-resourced, welcoming and highly supportive, offering a collaborative working environment and continuous professional development.
This role is an excellent opportunity for both experienced SEN Teachers and qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS) looking to transition into SEN teaching with full training and support.
What the School is Looking For:
Either SEN teaching experience
OR QTS with a strong interest in SEN and willingness to learn
Passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential
Confident in adapting learning and creating engaging, differentiated lessons
Positive communicator who can work well with teaching assistants, therapists & families
Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Manage classroom routines and behaviour in a calm, consistent way
Support personal, social and emotional development alongside academic progression
Work closely with Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and support staff
Contribute to pupil assessments, progress reviews and EHCP outcomes
