Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and school staff
Create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and implement strategies to support student learning
Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to meet the diverse needs of SEN students
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous Teaching Experience
Passion for Education
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Proven experience working with SEN students
Strong understanding of different learning styles and SEN strategies
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in challenging situations
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional SEN training or qualifications
Experience using assistive technology and resources for SEN students
Experience in working with students with specific learning disabilities
Working Conditions:
Regular working hours with occasional extra hours for meetings or planning
Classroom-based teaching with opportunities for outdoor and practical learning activities
Collaborative work with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
