Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing speech and language therapy programs under the supervision of a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SLT).

Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Help students develop their communication skills through focused interventions and activities.

Track progress and provide feedback to the teaching team and therapists to ensure continued support for the students.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

A keen interest in pursuing a career as a Speech and Language Therapist.

Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage with children in a positive and supportive way.

Team player with the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child.

Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the field of SEN and speech and language therapy.
Desirable:

A relevant qualification in education, child development, or a related field (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
