Are you passionate about supporting students with Autism in a mainstream secondary school setting? We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school that’s expanding its SEN provision – and they are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join them on a permanent basis from September 2025.
The Role:
* Supporting students with Autism (ASC) across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to tailor learning and behaviour strategies
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to aid engagement and progress
* Helping to create a calm, positive, and structured learning environment
About You:
* Experience supporting children or young people with Autism – ideally in a school or educational setting
* Calm, patient, and consistent, with a strong understanding of ASD
* Team player who is confident, compassionate, and proactive
* Relevant qualifications minimum GCES in English and Maths
