SEND Teaching Assistant - PMLD & Complex Needs

💰 £100-£120 per day
Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist school in Oldbury, supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and a range of complex needs.
💡 What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting pupils with significant physical, learning, and sensory needs in the classroom and through therapeutic activities.
Providing personal care and assisting with mobility (hoists and specialist equipment - full training provided if needed).
Helping deliver individualised learning plans and communication support.
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to create a positive, consistent learning experience.
Encouraging independence and celebrating every achievement - big or small.
✅ What We're Looking For:
Experience working with pupils with PMLD, complex medical needs, or in a care/support setting.
MUST have a level 3 UK qualification and a minimum of 6 months experience working in the UK
Kindness, patience, and emotional resilience - a must.
Confidence in assisting with personal care and physical support.
A proactive and team-focused attitude.
