SEN Teaching Assistant | Daily Supply | Part Time Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Daily Supply) Start: ASAP Hours: 08:30 -15:30 Location: East London Contract: Part Time Rate: £95-£110 per day Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role in education? Here at Remedy we are seeking Daily Supply Teaching Assistants to cover positions in and around East London. Daily supply involves providing cover for absent staff members on a day-to-day basis, offering flexibility for those seeking part-time or temporary roles, such as university students or individuals looking for summer work. As a Daily Supply Teaching Assistant, no two days will be the same. You will play a vital role in supporting teaching delivering the best support to children with learning difficulties and disabilities. The ideal candidate: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods. Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.Requirements: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
