We are working with a new school who are seeking a dedicated, caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) working directly with pupils to support their learning, communication, and emotional development. Children from age 7 to 18 attend this school with a range of complex needs including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties, and associated challenging behaviour.

The school are looking for someone who is: compassionate, patient and committed to making a difference, resilient, adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure and enthusiastic about supporting children with SEN to achieve their goals.
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential - the right attitude, empathy and resilience are most important.
