SEN Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe
Location: High Wycombe
Position: Full-Time Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025
A warm and inclusive SEN school in High Wycombe is looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional needs.
Your Role Will Include:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour management
Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Working closely with therapists, SENCOs, and other professionals to meet individual needs
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
A Child Workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
A patient, positive, and flexible attitude
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for SEN education.
