SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Whalley Range | November Start
Teaching Personnel is excited to partner with a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in Whalley Range, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) starts in November and focuses on delivering personalised support to pupils with Special Educational Needs through one-to-one and small group interventions.

Key Responsibilities
Provide targeted SEN support to pupils individually and in small groups
Assist teachers with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
Support the implementation and regular review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor pupil progress
Adapt support approaches to meet the changing needs of pupils
What We’re Looking For
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience working with children with SEN
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare
Level 2 Safeguarding certification, or willingness to complete training
