SEN Teaching Assistant
Supporting a Complex SEN Child in Year 4 with ASD
Key Details:

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term Time Only
Pay: £90+ per day (PAYE)
Start Date: Monday 3rd November

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large and inclusive primary school in Havering. This rewarding position involves supporting a Year 4 pupil with complex Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication and language difficulties.
Experience with PECS is essential, alongside a patient, nurturing approach and the ability to maintain firm and consistent boundaries.
We are looking for someone who:
Has proven SEN experience, particularly with ASD and communication and language needs
Can work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
Demonstrates commitment, reliability, and a passion for supporting children's development and SENTo work in schools through Tradewind, you will need:
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Recent, relevant references covering the last two years
A CV of employment, with explanations for any gaps
