Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and inclusive school in Hounslow. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, offering the chance to work closely with students who need tailored support to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering adapted lessons
Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor student progress and report to teaching staff and SENCO
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have prior experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred)
Be patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be flexible and adaptable to meet student needs
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
