The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Croydon from September 2025. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support children with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social–emotional needs. You will provide tailored support to help pupils access learning, promote positive behaviour, and build confidence both academically and socially.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN (either in mainstream or specialist settings), excellent communication skills, and a patient, nurturing approach.
