Complex SEN Teaching Assistant - Bedford
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Location: Bedford
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with complex special educational needs across primary and secondary schools in Bedford.
These roles are both daily, short-term and long-term. We will work closely with you to find a role that fits around your schedule.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in supporting children with additional needs such as autism, global developmental delay, or communication and sensory difficulties. You will play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their individual learning and personal development goals.
The Role Includes:
Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
Supporting learning, communication and emotional regulation
Assisting teachers and therapists with personalised education plans
Helping to create a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex SEN
A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to helping every child reach their potential
