KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time | NG5
£90 – £110 per day | Long-Term Opportunity
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification or higher?
We’re working with a fantastic primary school in the NG5 area looking for a skilled and compassionate KS2 SEN TA to join their supportive team full time.
This is a brilliant opportunity to make a lasting impact supporting children with additional needs — in a nurturing, inclusive school that truly values its staff.
The Role
*
Providing 1:1 and small-group support for KS2 pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties
*
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
*
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and social development through consistent, positive approaches
*
Using visuals, structure, and sensory strategies to encourage independence and engagement
*
Working collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and outside agencies to ensure progress
What We’re Looking For
*
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum requirement)
*
Significant experience supporting pupils with SEN and complex needs in KS2
*
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour and learning
*
Strong teamwork, communication, and record-keeping skills
*
A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential
