Job: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Havering
Pay: £90 + a day (PAYE)
Start: ASAP
Duration: until July 2026
Working Hours: Full time, Term Time only (8:30am - 3:30pm)
The school has a car park or it can be easily accessed by local bus routes/ Elizbeth Line.
Tradewind are delighted to be working with a lovely two form entry school around 15 minutes from Romford station. It is set in beautiful rural surroundings with spacious grounds.
The school are looking for an experienced and flexible SEN teaching assistant, who has worked with SEN children within a mainstream school or specialist provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a long-term role and is passionate about supportive inclusive education.
About the Role:
The desirable TA will have experience working closely with children with SEN children either within a mainstream classroom or within a specialist provision (especially ASD, ADHD and SEMH)
The role is working across various year groups supporting children with SEN one to one so it is important that you are flexible
Experience with PECs and Makaton is desirable
The school would like someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about a career working with children with SENCompliance requirements for the role:
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
Full CV covering employment history with any gaps explained

Twp professional reference covering the last 2 years
