Salary: £90 - £95 per day

Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant who is seeking a permanent role within a Specialist school? Do you have the patience, empathy, and dedication to support pupils as a SEN Teaching Assistant to achieve their full potential?
We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in the LS9 area of Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties)
Create a nurturing and safe environment that promotes emotional well-being
Support pupils in developing social skills and independence
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based or other relevant settings)
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
