The Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
Qualiteach are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs. The role involves working one-to-one and in small groups to help children achieve their learning and EHCP goals. You’ll assist in implementing support plans, promote positive behaviour, and help pupils manage emotions and social interactions. Duties include personal care, preparing learning resources, monitoring progress, and maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom. Collaboration with teachers, therapists, and other professionals is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, patience, and a commitment to safeguarding and supporting every child’s wellbeing and educational development.
