Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
 Area: Brixton Hill, SW2
 Start Date: Immediate
 Contract Type: Full-time (5 days per week), Long-term with Temp-to-Perm opportunity
 Salary: £105 per day
 Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

About the school:
 A supportive special school in Brixton Hill catering for students aged 11-19 with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties, and associated learning needs.

About the role:
 You will provide tailored support to students, assist with classroom activities, and help manage challenging behaviour. This role requires patience, adaptability, and a commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:

Support students with Autism and communication needs
Assist with behaviour management strategies
Promote independence and life skills
Work collaboratively with teachers and therapistsRequirements - The ideal candidate would have:

Previous experience supporting students with Autism and Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties
Experience managing challenging behaviour
Experience working with children and/or young people
A valid enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce)Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
