SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Altrincham Primary School

The Role
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with a range of SEN, particularly Autism (ASC)
Building positive, trusting relationships and using calm, consistent communication strategies
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, transitions, and structured routines
Helping children access learning alongside the class teacher and SENCO
Creating a safe, engaging, and encouraging environment where every child feels valuedWhat We're Looking For
Experience supporting children with autism or communication needs
A patient, empathetic, and calm approach
Previous experience as a TA, support worker, youth worker, or in a child-centred role
