The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant in September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students by promoting positive behaviour, encouraging independence and adapting to the varied nature of each school day. You will need to be proactive, confident using your own initiative and able to build positive relationships whilst maintaining clear and consistent boundaries.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 2 in English and Maths (essential)
Experience supporting children or young people, preferably within an SEN environment
Strong behaviour management skills and the confidence to remain firm whilst knowing when to take a calm, nurturing approach
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and get stuck in where needed
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Excellent communication skills with a resilient and adaptable approach
