SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Birmingham | Salary: DOE  | Full-Time | Term Time Only |

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming SEN school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.
Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored learning and intervention programmes.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Provide one-to-one and small group support both inside and outside the classroom.
Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
Is patient, resilient, and adaptable.
Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Can confidently support students with varying needs and abilities.
Is passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives.
Holds relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
