SEN Learning Support Assistant – Long-Term Opportunity
Location: Hammersmith & Fulham
Contract: Long-term / approximately 12 months
Start Date: Immediately
Year Groups: Year 1 – Year 11
We are recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a small specialist SEN school supporting approximately 50 pupils from Year 1 through to Year 11.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an LSA who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and is looking for a long-term role where they can make a real impact.
The Role
You will provide individual and small-group support to pupils, helping them to engage with learning and develop their confidence, independence and communication skills.
Working across different year groups, you will play an important role in creating a positive, safe and encouraging environment for pupils with a range of additional needs.
Requirements
The school is looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Is patient, caring and resilient
Can build strong and trusting relationships with pupils
Is enthusiastic about supporting learning and personal development
Is reliable and committed to a long-term placement
Has experience using Clicker or similar specialist software (desirable, but training is available)
Is UK-based and able to commit to the role
Holds an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service
Can provide the relevant DBS documentation and consent to an Update Service check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
