Key Responsibilities Deliver consistent 1:1 and in-class support for pupils with ASD and additional needs. Implement tailored strategies to support learning, behaviour and emotional regulation. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lesson materials and activities. Build strong, professional relationships that promote trust, stability and engagement. Monitor and support pupils' academic progress and emotional wellbeing throughout the day. Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.The Ideal Candidate for the Role Proven experience working in an SEN setting. Strong background in 1:1 support with children or young people. Confident supporting pupils with ASD and additional needs. Calm, patient and consistent approach to behaviour and learning support. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
