Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Roles Available Salary: £82.14 - £100 per day (dependent on experience) Make a Difference Every Day – Join Provide Education as an SEN Teaching Assistant Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Provide Education is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Wakefield starting in September 2025. We are looking for individuals who are patient, nurturing, and committed to helping all pupils reach their full potential. What We Offer: * Placements in supportive schools with inclusive learning environments * Full-time and part-time roles to suit your availability * Long-term and short-term assignments * Competitive daily pay rates * Free CPD and training to support your professional development * Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant * Opportunities to gain experience across a range of SEN settings Your Responsibilities May Include: * Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties * Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing behaviour * Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs * Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment * Supporting pupils with personal care (if required, training provided) We’re Looking For: * Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN or educational setting * A calm, patient and resilient nature * A strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour support strategies * Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential * A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs If you're ready to start or continue your journey in SEN support, we’d love to hear from you
