SEN Teaching Assistant

key responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
• Work closely with teachers to implement EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies
• Foster independence, confidence, and progress in students through 1:1 and small group interventions
• Help to maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and report on student progress to SENCO and pastoral leads
the ideal candidate will have:
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
• Previous experience working with SEN students (desired but not essential)
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• A proactive attitude and a flexible approach to working in a dynamic school environment
