Are you a skilled and passionate educator with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kingston Upon Thames, and we're seeking an exceptional SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team full-time.
About the Role:
You’ll be working in the school’s Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), supporting pupils aged 4–11 with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
These pupils benefit from a personalised approach to learning, and you will play a vital role in helping them overcome barriers, build trust, and thrive academically and emotionally.

We’re Looking For:
Experienced professionals with a background in SEMH, SEND, or managing challenging behaviour.
Confidence, resilience, and a calm, patient approach.
Psychology graduates or those with similar relevant qualifications/experience are encouraged to apply.
A valid child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply — we’ll guide you through it).
Someone local to or able to easily commute to Kingston Upon Thames.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
