SEN Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Teach Now is working in partnership with a warm, community-focused primary school in Ealing, West London, to recruit an experienced and empathetic SEN teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a child diagnosed with ASD starting September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a daily rate of £85–£100, depending on experience. The SEN teaching assistant role You will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide targeted, 1:1 support to a child with autism, helping them access the curriculum and thrive both socially and emotionally. The role will involve adapting resources, using specific communication strategies, and implementing EHCP targets with consistency and care. Requirements • Previous experience working with children with ASD in a school setting is essential • A patient, adaptable, and caring attitude • A proactive approach to learning and collaboration • Knowledge of SEN best practices and/or relevant training (e.g. PECS, Makaton, TEACCH) is desirable Join a school that genuinely values its staff and is committed to inclusive education.
