Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? A thriving secondary school in the heart of the City of London is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team immediately.
🏫 About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 support to students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement personalised learning strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Monitor and report on student progress and contribute to reviews and EHCPs.✅ Requirements:
Proven experience supporting SEN students in a school setting, particularly on a 1:1 basis.
Knowledge of effective strategies to support students with diverse needs.
Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Availability to start immediately.🎓 Ideal Candidate:
Experience working in a secondary school setting.
A genuine commitment to inclusion and supporting young people.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 TA, or similar) are desirable but not essential.📍 Location:
Based in a well-connected and inclusive secondary school in the City of London, easily accessible by public transport.
