Teaching Assistant
£90-£100

A pacey, fun and rewarding Primary school in Haringey are seeking a Teaching Assistant with a ‘can-do’ attitude and character, to join them in September 2025, for the full academic year. The Teaching Assistant will be assigned to support different children with a broad range of needs across Key Stage 1 and 2.
The school is a popular place to be boasting a newly renovated playground, a school cat and a school dog! The senior leadership team are down to earth, supportive, and are always keen to upskill and develop their team to be future star educators! It is based in a traditional ‘older’ school type building, with some very modern twists and upgrades inside.
The Teaching Assistant must have great experience of being able to support children with Social, Emotional Mental Health , and possess patience and the ability to impose a sense of calm. Teaching Assistants that currently work here are supported incredibly by the school SENDCO and leadership team. Candidates that do not have direct school-based experience but have skills that can be transferred are encouraged to apply.
School hours are (Apply online only), and the role will be 5 days per week.
The school can be easily accessed via both Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- A fully enhanced DBS check registered to the update service
- Experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs
