Remedy Education is working with a highly regarded secondary school in Greenwich that is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and looking to build a long-term career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings
Assisting with classroom preparation and general support for the class teacher
Managing and promoting positive behaviour
Helping students access the curriculum and reach their full potential
Adapting support strategies to meet individual needs
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a secondary school setting
Previous experience supporting students with SEN (highly desirable)
Confident supporting students with GCSE-level Maths & English
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
A degree from a UK university is desirable but not essential
A resilient, adaptable, and proactive attitude
