SEN Teaching Assistant - Lambeth 🌟 📍 Location: Lambeth, London 💷 Pay: £90 - £115 per day 📅 Start: Immediate & September 2025 starts available 🕒 Full-time, Term-time only Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people from diverse backgrounds? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive SEN school in Lambeth. This rewarding role offers the chance to work closely with pupils who have a variety of special needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN Assist in the development and delivery of tailored learning programmes Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff Promote independence, inclusion, and emotional well-being Support students with personal care (where required) Monitor progress and contribute to pupil reports and reviews Create a safe, positive and engaging classroom environment Requirements: Previous experience supporting children or young people with special needs is highly desirable A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach Strong communication and teamwork skills An understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Whether you're looking to start immediately or secure a role ready for the September 2025 academic year, we would love to hear from you!
